バグルーの伝統的デザインーフェダット

バグルーの伝統的デザイン、フェダット。

ブロックプリントと泥染（マドプリント）の両工程で仕上げられています。

500年以上昔にこの地に栄えたマハラジャが考案し、綿々と作り続けられたもの。

ただバグルーではもう作っていないそうで、この工房では残りわずか3枚を残すのみと聞きました。

僕が1枚買ったので残2枚か。

Finished by both processes, block print and mud print.

The king (Maharaja), who was in power here more than 500 years ago, invented this pattern and artisans in Bagru have kept creating this kind of fabric since then.  

The artisans said that they already stopped making this design any more, at that time in the factory they had only 3 pieces left. Now only 2 left ‘cause I bought 1 of those.
