ヘンナで飾られたインドの花嫁 | グジャラート州カロール
メンディ（ヘンナ）で飾られた花嫁クルッティの手足。
親族の女性陣はみなさんメンディで模様をつけるのですが（そのためのメンディ・アーティストがムンバイから呼ばれる）、親族は手首ぐらいまでのシンプルなもの。
花嫁とその母親は両腕両足すごい勢いで描いてもらいます。メンディ・アーティストもこの２人が一番の山場なので気合い入ってます。
Kruti’s hands and feet, decorated with Mehndi(henna).
Only the bride and her mother of the day decorate with henna onto their arms and feet. Others like relatives and friends get decorated on their wrist. This day Mehndi artists came to Kalol from Mumbai.
地方ごとに違った模様があるそうで、図鑑的に一気に見てみたい気もします。
I heard that people in each area has different patterns. I’d like to see all of them together someday.
